All of the Thule roof racks and roof bars come complete with all the parts that you need to fit them to your car quickly and easily. In most cases, no tools are required to fit them, but in the event that you do - they come with the rack. The most common type of roof rack is the gutterless system (750 Foot Pack) this type of roof rack fits gutterless cars, where there are no obvious fixing son the cars roof, and clamps around the cars door apertures. Another common type of fixing is for cars that have factory fitted roof rails on top of the car (757 Foot Pack) these foot packs clamp easily to your rails and are rubberized to protect your car. In most cases, these types of roof racks can be interchanged between different vehicles.

Many cars are fitted with pre-installed attachments for roof racks and bars, known as fixpoints. All Thule's aerobars are equipped with a T-track system which is a slot cut into the top of the roof bar. Any Thule product you attach to your roof rack is slid into this track from the side of the bar. Because the accessory is attached in this way, you can use the whole length of the bar, even above the roof racks foot to create more space for several accessories.
