Heavy Duty Roof Bars For an Escort Van

The Ford Escort Van can accomodate a 2 bar roof rack or a 3 bar roof rack system.
The van uses traditional gutters to attach the roof rack to. These gutters are located under the plastic clips the are sited on the long plastic trim that runs the length of the van.

Because the Escort Vans roof slopes down at the front of the vehicle, the fixing legs in the 3 bar system has taller legs to allow a level platform when loading the roof rack.

Because of the height of these legs, Rhino include "tie-bars" to join the first and second legs together. This gives moew stability on the legs under heavy braking and ensures that the legs remain upright in the gutters.
